Burke County Chamber of Commerce Appoints Julie Langham to Board of Directors

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Technical College seal in Heritage Green composed of the words ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Technical College circling the top 3/4s of a circular outline. The word Georgia is centered at the bottom outside the circular outline, separated from the words ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ and College by three stylized laurel leaves. The inner part of the circular outline is divided into three sections by lines forming a capitalzed Y. The upper section includes the image of an open book as seen from the bottom edge with the year 1961 above it framed by two small diamonds. The bottom left section contains an outline of a gear with the hollow center of the gear opening to the center of the Y. The bottom right section contains the outline of a caduceus.

Langham to Board of Directors

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ, GA - January 27, 2025

Mrs. Julie Langham, a Caucasian female with shoulder length blonde hair, smiles wearing a fuchsia top with a black dress jacket.ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Technical College proudly announces the appointment of Julie Langham, Vice President for Economic Development, to the Burke County Chamber of Commerce.

The Burke County Chamber of Commerce strives to promote economic growth and prosperity in our community and is made up of members who represent businesses, organizations and individuals who share the common goal of advancing the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of the Burke County community.

"I am thrilled to join the Burke County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. It is an honor to serve our vibrant community and to represent ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Technical College in this esteemed capacity. I look forward to contributing to our collective growth and success,” stated Mrs. Langham.

Mrs. Langham has worked in higher education for 23 years and has been with the College since 2002. She is responsible for oversight of the Offices of Continuing Education and Adult Education. The Economic Development Division provides training and services to support lifelong learning and local workforce development.

"Mrs. Langham will provide immediate value to the Burke County Chamber of Commerce. Her extensive work at the college and with many local Burke County businesses make her an excellent choice for their board of directors," stated College President Dr. Jermaine Whirl.

Langham holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University and a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Administration from Troy University. She serves on many community boards including McDuffie County United Way Board of Directors, McDuffie County Partners for Success (2025 Chairwoman), Columbia County CTAE Advisory Board, and is a Leadership McDuffie Graduate.

Mrs. Langham will serve a three year term.
