Burke County Chamber of Commerce Appoints Julie
Langham to Board of Directors
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ, GA - January 27, 2025
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Technical College proudly announces the appointment of Julie Langham, Vice President for Economic Development, to the Burke County Chamber of Commerce.
The Burke County Chamber of Commerce strives to promote economic growth and prosperity in our community and is made up of members who represent businesses, organizations and individuals who share the common goal of advancing the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of the Burke County community.
"I am thrilled to join the Burke County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. It is an honor to serve our vibrant community and to represent ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Technical College in this esteemed capacity. I look forward to contributing to our collective growth and success,” stated Mrs. Langham.
Mrs. Langham has worked in higher education for 23 years and has been with the College since 2002. She is responsible for oversight of the Offices of Continuing Education and Adult Education. The Economic Development Division provides training and services to support lifelong learning and local workforce development.
"Mrs. Langham will provide immediate value to the Burke County Chamber of Commerce. Her extensive work at the college and with many local Burke County businesses make her an excellent choice for their board of directors," stated College President Dr. Jermaine Whirl.
Langham holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University and a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Administration from Troy University. She serves on many community boards including McDuffie County United Way Board of Directors, McDuffie County Partners for Success (2025 Chairwoman), Columbia County CTAE Advisory Board, and is a Leadership McDuffie Graduate.
Mrs. Langham will serve a three year term.
